Respecting culture of a country is a must. Burmese does not like to show off a lot of skin. Hence, avoid hot pants, shorts, cut sleeves.
Fact: Typical Myanmar local male wears checkered longyi (similar to lungi in India) and local female prefers to wear longyi with a side knot (looks like wrap around skirts)
